You will be joining a cross-functional team consisting of software engineers, product managers and business developers responsible for developing DNB's external developer platform.

The DevOps Engineer is part of Open Banking, DNB, which is responsible for providing APIs for the internal and external consumers. In Open Banking, we have multiple DevOps teams developing and maintaining multiple products. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is responsible for standardizing the practice of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and alerting systems among the DevOps teams. In this role, you will take ownership of the Cloud platform, actively participate in architectural discussion and mentoring junior DevOps Engineers. You may also be responsible for other tasks given by management.

What you will do:

• Responsible for developing and maintaining Cloud Platform (AWS) using Infrastructure automation (Terraform/CloudFormation).

• Responsible for developing and operating CI/CD pipelines and helping fellow engineers doing faster and safer code deployments.

• Work cross-functionally within the team as well as with other teams within the company on improving planning, testing, and deployment process.

• Serve as expert on CI/CD/DevOps practices, tooling and components

• Ownership and document the tools processes/methodology, procedures, environments, access/security/risk management.

• Share your passion for staying on top of the tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community

• Be a part of On-Call team who needs to provide emergency support 24/7. The On-call team has a weekly rotation for the duty.

Technical skills:

• Deep understanding of infrastructure automation tools

• Have strong skills and experience in various DevOps tools covering Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, deployment tools, containerization platforms, continuous monitoring, etc.

• A deep understanding of Git and different branching strategies.

• Experience with the software development life cycle, best practices and agile software development.

• Self-starter, open-minded, committed, motivated and friendly.

• Experience with the follow or similar tools; Git, Jenkins, GitLab, Grafana, Terraform, Cloudformation, Splunk, etc

• Experience managing environments from development to production

• Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure

• Language agnostic, in Open Banking we write code in Java, Python, Javascript and Go.
