English: The house is situated on private land of 230 hectares. This is a perfect wilderness in a remote valley at the end of the road. All part up into a virgin valley bordering on the National park area. There is a small lake full of trout and a beautiful river with many waterfalls. The landscape is very idyllic and inviting and easy to hike in. The land borders on the huge national park of Skjaekerfjella. Excellent flyfishing for salmon and trout. Full Huntingrights can be bougt for 70Tkr per year on a prolongable five year term. Moose, red-deer, roe-deer and capercaillie on local grounds. Additional capercailie and grouse plus smallgamehunting on over 35.000 hectares is readily available for a small yearly licence. The sea is only half an hours drive away and so is the town of Steinkjer with all the society services imaginable. Seafishing is also excellent. Great possibilities for sea-kayaking and lake-kayaking, horsebackriding and pike-fishing. There are several lovely lakes with fishing and beaches for swimming only minutes away.
The old farmstead has been entirely redesigned with landscape architectural criteria in mind.
