Business Analyst (with an entrepreneur spirit)

About the position

Want to use your business and analytical skills to help tackle climate change?

We’re Carbon Limits, a dynamic climate change consultancy located in the heart of Oslo.

Can you help our dedicated team of climate experts make an even bigger impact by providing insightful analysis into our finances, projects, performance, and the market?

You need to be an Excel expert, and have a good understanding of financial data so you can use your Excel skills to build forecasts, models, and dashboards that give the team a clear picture of where the business is – and where it’s going.

When youve got the business and financial processes in place, the business analysis part of the job will represent about 40% of your time: You are motivated to jump onto other challenges: overseeing our IT contractors, performing Excel analysis on climate mitigation for our clients, or something else… you are not afraid to learn something new and have a “can do” attitude.

You will have a business or finance related qualification (e.g. MBA) and may have some work experience in a consultancy environment. The most important things are that you have an entrepreneurial spirit, and that you’re self-motivated to grow as your role in the company develops.

Your Skill Set:

• Financial Acumen: Degree in Business Administration or Finance (relevant masters degree, MBA, etc.).
• Excel Expertise: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with experience in developing and utilizing complex financial models.
• Analytical Rigor: Display meticulous attention to detail, an eye for spotting errors, and a penchant for innovative analysis.
• Adaptability: Embrace a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Be open to learning and adapting on the job across various functions.
