We are looking for a Fulfilment Manager

Our Strategic Planning & Inventory department is driving our global sales and operations planning process.  We are looking for a Fulfilment Manager who will be instrumental in turning our operating plan into action! The role is key in facilitating having the right product at the right place at the right time at optimal cost and will work highly across several departments to reach the targets, i.e customer care, sales, planning and production.

In addition to replenishment planning, the candidate will also be responsible for fulfilment and allocation of products  to key markets, warehouses and customers, as well as providing operational and analytical support  to the S&OP process.

We own our whole value chain, and you will have a “finger on the pulse” of every aspect of our business, and navigate in a highly diverse, international organization.  The Fulfilment manager will be a part of a team of 3 and will report to the Director Strategic Planning and Inventory

The candidate we are looking for preferably has experience within import/export, order handling or logistics, and is intrigued by working and integrating across cross-functional teams globally.

What you will be responsible for

  • Effectuating the operating plan; ensuring medium to long term plan gets broken down to quarterly plans and ensure fulfilment
  • Maintaining fluent communication and interlock by between planning, sales and Logistics/customer care
  • Replenishment planning to our global hubs and local warehouses, as well as allocating and prioritizing product for key customers/markets.
  • Plan and support product lifecycle management by contributing to phase in/out plans and actions, to minimize waste and maximize revenue at all stages in the product lifecycle.
  • Providing analytical support to the S&OP process, by contributing with gap analysis, scenario planning, risk assessment and mitigation actions
  • Inventory management support -and control (ICFR)

 

Desired characteristics:

  • Highly tuned analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to use facts and data to drive discussions and develop clear/actionable reports and presentations
  • Proactive, with excellent execution skills and “can-do” attitude
  • Team orientated with great collaborative skills

 

To be successful, we believe you have:

  • Experience with import/export operations, order handling and logistics
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, order management or logistics role
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, logistics, experience within Logistics may qualify for lack of degree
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup, Charts, etc.)
  • Knowledge of databases & ERP systems
  • English oral and written proficiency is required, and preferably a 3rd language

 

The Fulfilment manager will work primarily at our head offices at Fornebu, Norway, some travel is to be expected. We recognize that people have different needs, and trust employees to deliver results when given flexibility both in terms of working hours and location. International travel will be required to some extent.
