FYI:
Dischidia Imbricata has beautiful small green helmeted leaves. In the wild ants will live underneath the leaves of the Dischidia Imbricata, which make them a perfect defender of the plant to predators. This plant is really easy to care for and would be an ideal plant for anyone whoโs into plants!
This all makes the Dischidia Imbricata a must have for any lovers of trailing plants!
It will look stunning hanging close to your windowsill.
Dischidia are close family to Hoya and just as easy to take care for.
The Dischidia is best grown in a place where it gets sufficient indirect light. Close to a northwest facing window for example would be ideal. Even though it might not hurt the plant too much, a whole day of direct sunlight is too much. As for watering itโs recommended to water the plant once a week. Let the soil dry out a bit between watering. The Dischidia is very tolerant plant and will be ok when you forget to water it very once in a while. If you would mount the plant itโs probably better to water the plant regularly as the sphagnum moss will dry out much quicker than soil. The Dischidia is also tolerant to humidity. It prefers a higher humidity, but would still be fine at a bit of a lower humidity thatโs more common in most households.
