Preschool teacher with early childhood education

We are looking for an English-speaking Preschool Teacher to join our team.
The ideal candidate is a warm, engaged and professional educator with strong English language skills and an international preschool or early childhood education qualification recognized in Norway.

Our preschool offers a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0–6 years, and the successful applicant will have pedagogical responsibility for one of our three groups. We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and who can help create a safe, inspiring and inclusive everyday environment where children can learn, play and thrive.

At Christianslund Barnehage, we place special emphasis on inquiry-based learning, music and dance, English and Norwegian language development, physical activity, and healthy meals. We are therefore seeking a teacher who is creative, caring, and confident in planning and leading meaningful activities in close cooperation with colleagues and parents.

Our nursery/preschool is located in Fredrikstad and has around 35 children. We are a small and welcoming preschool offering care and education for children aged 0–6 years.

The property was fully renovated in 2022 and appears modern, bright and well maintained, both inside and outside. The outdoor play area was also completely renewed in 2022, providing children with a safe, attractive and inspiring environment for play and development.
