By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:

• Work in the Cyber Defence Center in Equinor, which is responsible for detecting and responding to cyber threats in ICS (Industrial Automation & Control Systems), cloud, and on-prem systems. 
• You will have the opportunity to become part of the Cyber Defence Detect team focusing on Cyber security monitoring in ICS or Cloud. We are looking for new employees within both disciplines. We are organized as a team of Cyber Defence Analysts and Engineers with end-to-end responsibility for our services and we use DevOps principles to deliver effectively and with high quality.
• Research attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (“TTPs”) and translate your knowledge into detection analytics. We are passionate about competence development and recognize the need for continuous learning to stay up to date and sharpen our skillset.
• Analyze and process alarms and hunt for attackers using available data and tools.
• Collaborate with Equinor’s Cyber Defence Respond team and other stakeholders when handling incidents. Cyber Defence Center consists of a good mix between seasoned cyber security veterans and young talents, where each member has a lot of autonomy and flexibility in their work.
• Equinor has a global presence with offices in over 30 countries, 40.000 user accounts, and a complex threat landscape that is both challenging and interesting to work with.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related fields (working experience may compensate for formal education).
• Experience within ICS or Cloud; Log analysis, Scripting (e.g., Python or Powershell), SQL and exposure to security devices and tools is a plus
• Clear and concise communication both verbally and in writing.
• Analytical mindset and possess the ability to think critically.
• Curious and knowledge-seeking.
