As Sales Manager based in Stavanger, Norway, you will manage all Wireline and Flowline Equipment sales efforts to all offshore customers in the North Sea Area (Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Denmark and UK). You will utilise your sales management skills to achieve business targets within the assigned area and use your relational strengths to foster excellent customer relationships. As a Sales Manager you will focus on three key performance areas for the assigned territory; maximizing sales order intake, financial forecasting and generating new business leads and opportunities.

A minimum of 10 years of technical experience in the well intervention sector (with a minimum of 5yrs in a sales management position) will act as a foundation to you, developing critical product knowledge in line with our business strategy. Developing our business goes hand in hand with developing our people’s skills, with the support of the Regional Sales Manager, you will be open to career progression and continued self-development to reach personal and business goals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervision of the regional Sales Department, encompassing Capital Equipment, Rental and After Sales activities
  • Financial forecasting for the region and management towards achieving set financial goals
  • Recommendation to Product Line Management of appropriate build forecasts and Stock additions
  • Management and Approval of quotations and supportive information to customer enquiries
  • Management of the design and implementation of department procedures as required.
  • Management of client visit programs within the territory as well as implementing reporting procedures.
  • Maintain an overview of clients in the region, their contracts and operations; create sales action plans based on areas of potential success.
  • Maintain an overview of competitors, their activities, success and failures, feedback to senior sales management.
  • Management of all existing agents within the assigned territory and establishing new outlets.
  • Monthly report to Senior Management, including quote activity, new orders, new clients, customer feedback and business outlook.
  • Participate in the preparation of the Company’s annual business plan pertaining to activity in the assigned territory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSc or BEng Degree or extensive experience

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in sales management and / or business development manager role (Minimum 5 years) (Essential)
  • Experience of field working in Wireline intervention (Minimum of 10 years) (Essential)
  • Working knowledge of the Energy Industry, specifically Wireline Intervention and completion methods (Desirable)
  • Commercial evaluation of product development (Desirable)
  • NORSOK standards and regulations (Desirable)

SKILLS, TRAINING, OR SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE:

  • Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook) (Essential)
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001 and API Q1 (Essential)
  • Working knowledge of, PLM/PDM and CRM data systems (Desirable)
