We are now looking for a Product Manager for our Crew Companion solution which is IDENTEC SOLUTIONS world class Personnel Safety solution that helps keep workers safe on oil rigs, in offshore wind farms, and underground mines.

We are looking for someone with experience, drive and initiative who will be part of our product development team reporting directly to the group CEO.
IDENTEC SOLUTIONS is a turnkey solution provider with in-house developed hardware and software and an exciting and challenging global work environment.

Responsibilities

Strategic product management of our Crew Companion solution in the Emerging & Existing Energy and Mining & Tunneling verticals:

Manage the whole product lifecycle and chart the future course of our Crew Companion solution which includes hardware, software, and our service offering
Ascertain, align and incorporate the needs of all stakeholders so the solution is positioned to meet the future needs of the market
Be the product owner in our agile development process, and work closely together with our global development and services teams to realise the product´s strategy
Create, shape, and design the product roadmap for Crew Companion
Create, supervise, and publish technical documentation related to the solution
Provide technical support to our sales and marketing team
All decisions affecting Crew Companion are managed holistically by it´s product manager

Qualifications

Relevant bachelor's degree or higher
Relevant previous product management experience
Excellent ICT and technical knowledge
Enjoys customer interaction
Ability to negotiate and communicate with senior management, both internally and externally
Ability to create and implement a product vision and strategy
Excellent cooperative and team skills
Enjoys travelling (customer sites, tradeshows, regional offices)
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) and preferably another language, e.g. Norwegian or German
Previous experience from the Oil & Gas and/or Mining & Tunneling industries is an advantage
