Head of Legal and Compliance

Tasks / Responsibilities:

• Providing legal advice on matters regarding the company's activity
• Ensuring compliance with legal practice in the banking / financial sector and organizing Legal Watch
• Performing contractual work relating to the different areas of activity
• Managing and organizing the Compliance function in the Nordic cluster
• Adapt and implement Compliance policies, procedures and control plan
• Create and implement Compliance training and awareness programs across the cluster
• Manage Leasing Solutions’ relationship with local regulator
• Legal and Compliance reporting – locally and group

We are looking for someone with:

• Legal education and relevant experience from finance companies, banks, insurance etc.
• Expert knowledge in the fields of, regulation, banking law, company law, contract law, labor law and the law against money laundering, consumer protection, personal data protection
• General knowledge of applicable regulatory framework for financial institutions in the Nordics
• Knowledge of Compliance issues and challenges specific to Leasing
• Good English and Norwegian skills (writing/oral), French is an advantage
• Good IT skills
