We are looking for a person who can take responsibility for the administrative management of our office in Bergen and effectively assist with claims handling and underwriting.

Your responsibilities

This is a position that will cover a variety of responsibilities in our Skuld Bergen business unit. You will have a central role in the office as an Office Manager and provide necessary assistance to the claims handlers and underwriters.

Your main daily tasks will be to:

  • Handle all administrative office management duties, ensure the office is always representable, and be the contact person for maintenance, cleaners, etc.
  • Issue documentation
  • Provide general claims handling assistance
  • Manage files and documentation in our insurance system
  • Pay invoices, claims and collect deductibles
  • Assist with enquiries related to covers, draft quotations and assist during renewals

Your qualifications should include 

  • Preferably 2 years or more work experience relevant for an office manager or business support role
  • Can work effectively with Microsoft office tools, and able to learn new IT systems quickly
  • Can communicate effectively in Norwegian and English, both verbal and written
  • Able to work independently
  • Can handle a large workload and meet strict deadlines
