Are you our next highly motivated team member to our Financial Quality and Assurance team?

We are looking for a highly motivated new team member to our Financial Quality and Assurance team. In this position you will join a highly qualified team that work with a variety of tasks within IFRS, financial reporting and internal control on a Nordic level.

The Financial Controller aim to deliver accurate and timely representation of the Bank’s financial performance in accordance with laws and regulations, as well as maintain the internal control framework for the Bank. The Financial Controller also support the business with analysis and qualitative accounting assessments related to projects and business decisions, and support with ad hoc requests.

Main acitivities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process.
• Quality review of account reconciliations and accounting monitoring.
• Responsible for calculation and preparation of accounting entries within different accounting areas (e.g hedge entries, treasury).
• Maintaining and developing the accounting, reporting and internal control process for the Bank.
• Quality review of internal and external financial reporting.
• Participate in implementing the correct accounting treatment for new products.
• Participate in ad hoc project and other matters.
• Coordinate and support both the external and internal audits.
• Responsible for solutions to ad hoc requests.
• Contribute to improvements, standardization and efficiency in processes.

Competence and skills

• Solid knowledge of IFRS
• Solid knowledge of internal control
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Fluent in English (verbal & written)
• Ability to clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner.

Experience

• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience or from one of the Big Five Auditing companies.
• Auditing experience

Education

• Master Degree or equivalent in Business, Economics or Finance, state-authorized auditor is an advantage
