Sweet Protection blends industry-leading innovation with the finest craftsmanship available to create the safest and most advanced helmets, eyewear, protective gear and apparel. Distribution is strongest in Scandinavia, Europe and North America through retailers and own controlled eCommerce. The brand is currently experiencing strong growth, are launching a US-specific website to accompany is European version this spring and the Aksel Lund Svindal for Sweet Protection athlete endorsed sub-brand this fall.

We are looking for a commercially oriented and forward leaning ecommerce manager which has a passion for digital marketing. Digital competence is in your DNA and you will play a crucial role in Sweet Protection’s continuous growth journey and be part of a bigger ecommerce collective within the Active Brands group. Main objective of the role

Lead and execute the Sweet Protection global ecommerce strategy and execute the day-to-day ecommerce business with focus on sales growth and profitability. Analyze metrics and run continuous improvements to maximize online site performance, conversion rates, traffic and sales on site. Ensure a close collaboration with the marketing team to improve content quality and traffic acquisition. Overall responsible for setting and executing of a best-in-class digital marketing strategy.

 


Experience / Skills required

  • Minimum a BA/BS degree preferably in business administration, computer science, marketing and communication or similar
  • Minimum three years of ecommerce experience with a proven track record of building and managing eCommerce sites from a growth company with international exposure
  • Experience working with digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, SMM/Social Media Display and affiliate marketing channels
  • Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technology and platforms and experience with A/B-testing and optimalization
  • Experience with HTML, CSS og JavaScript development
  • High competence of performance marketing tools and extensive knowledge in web analytics
  • Ability to tackle the demands of ever-evolving technological implements with ease.
  • Must be organized, have strong analytical skills, a data driven approach and be able to think creatively and to clearly communicate with peers, co-workers and senior management
  • Languages: Must be proficient in Norwegian and English. German is a plus.

 

The position is located in Oslo and reports to the Managing Director of Sweet Protection. It is important for us that the applicant is aligned with the Sweet Protection cultural values: Performance, Attitude, Integrity and Teamwork.
