For one of our clients we are looking for a Senior Telecom Engineer

Job Responsibilities 

•  Discipline lead for telecom discipline
•  System Design and follow up of Telecom systems 
•  Field Engineering standardization requirements and interface to other contractors
•  Fibre cable and UHF calculations
•  Participate in or facilitate technical reviews 
•  Designing solutions according to our client's requirements 
•  Follow up vendors and vendor technical documentation and participate in test activities/FAT. 
•  Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and 
• communicated to the project 
•  Interface to other disciplines, suppliers and client 
•  Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers
•  Extensive contact with Clients and Vendors
•  Ensure compliance to relevant procedures and standards

 
 
Required Education

•  Education Master or Bachelor degree or Technical College combined with minimum 10 years’ relevant Norwegian Continental Shelf experience  

Required Work Experience

•  Minimum 6-8 years’ experience from greenfield offshore oil&gas or wind projects 
•  Minimum 4-6 years’ experience from engineering phase with telecom system engineering and PRE responsibility
•  Experience and deep knowledge of telecom design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC
