Karsten Moholt's digital platform, ‘skAIwatch’, is a Software as a Service (SaaS) solutionincluding inhouse developed AI based on the company's 75 years of experience. The software side of the project started from scratch December 2019, and is growing on a daily basis. Due to increase amount of data, the project requires a data engineer, in hope for a scalable solution.

It is a Microsoft Azure based platform to delivery our intelligent condition monitoring service, which is based data harvesting, intelligent analysis and cloud to cloud services.

We are looking for a top motivated person that would like a career as Data Engineer in high end data driven environment at Karsten Moholt on Askøy area (20 min car, 30 min bus to Bergen center/Bryggen)

An exciting position as – Data Engineer

Daily tasks:

• Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures
• Align architecture with business requirements
• Data acquisition
• Develop data set processes
• Use programming language and tools
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
• Conduct research for industry and business questions
• Deploy sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods

Requirements/Experience:

• Advanced database knowledge (PostgreSQL, mySQL, MariaDB or similar RDMS).
• Python.
• REST API Interface.
• Agile development.
• ITIL mindset.
• Some experience in cyber security/networking - IP, Encryption, Firewall, Session.
• Experience in industry is preferred but not required.
• Relevant education.
• English communication skills (Norwegian is a pluss).
