Senior Solution Architect - Onboarding

Onboarding is a department within Cloud Delivery and is responsible for all customer on-boarding projects in Delivery.

We are looking for a person to be a part of our delivery team as a technical advisor with the role of Senior Solution Architect.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Be the technical resource that works closely with project leaders, project members and the customer.
• Will have the overall technical responsibility in the assign projects
• as a senior technical advisor and support the projects and its members
• Be a main driver in various meetings within project (Vendor, RAB, Customer)
• Ability to influence delivery processes
• Ability to manage your own workday
• Possibility to influence product
• Find the best solution for the customer 

Work experience from one or several areas within:

• Need to have experience from both projects and operations
• Experience from solution architecture – Create the best solution for customer based on criteria of price and performance
• Tech pre-sales
• Knowledge in implementing cloud solutions to tailor customer solutions (e.g. Azure or Google compute cloud)

Technical qualifications:

• Knowledge in how hardware affects performance in network and virtual environments
• Microsoft Windows Server
• Microsoft ActiveDirectory / AzureAD / WSUS / O365
• Hybrid - VMware / Microsoft Azure
• “Nice to have” Google Cloud Platform
• “Nice to have” AWS Platform

Personal qualifications:

• Reliable, responsible and independent
• Structured in delivery and documentation
• Transparent and proactive, sharing knowledge and competence with our teams   
• Technical and commercial understanding
• Analytical and presentation skills
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, verbal and written
• Good communication skills
• A Senior Solution Architect who takes charge in various gatherings /meetings

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree or higher
• Extensive competence may compensate for formal education
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar position 
• Experience from oil/gas industry
