The position can be located at our offices in Denmark, Norway, Finland or Sweden.



You’ll be powering Digital Services

As the Senior Product Owner you will be responsible for leading, defining, and designing genuine world-class and best-in-industry products and propositions, delivering in line with the vision of the Digital Services business unit.

Your mission is to deliver customer experiences, products and features that are unmatched within recurring and subscription payments, and uniquely meet the needs of our customers. We will be pushing boundaries to introduce new and innovative customer solutions, and this role will take the lead and accountability for that.

You will own and prioritise the product roadmap and backlog. You will drive customer centricity across everything we do. You are a product leader. You will drive an agile mindset and environment, working with development teams and cross-functional experts to deliver outstanding solutions. You will play a key leadership role within the Digital Services team, and also in promoting your product vision externally.

Your key tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Define the vision: Lead the product development team, defining and owning the vision, goals and objectives, roadmap, and requirements.
  • Manage the backlog: Accountable for creating a clear and healthy backlog, and lead the prioritization of them to deliver against the overall customer and commercial goals of the Digital Services business unit.
  • Prioritise customer needs: Responsible for mapping out and managing dependencies and sequencing, ensuring that we go to market with outstanding customer products, services, and features.
  • Define acceptance criteria: Own what “good” looks like, and ensure clear and concise instructions of our product needs.
  • Supervise, advise, and motivate the development and scrum teams throughout the development cycle to meet your software expectations.
  • Be the internal and external advocate for the Digital Services “North Star”, promoting the vision, and building a wow-factor around our capabilities and experiences.

Your professional skills and experience form most of your qualifications, but it’s also your personality that makes the difference at Nets. Your qualifications include:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience from a senior Product Manager, Product Owner, or Proposition Manager role.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of B2B ecommerce payments, card payments, alternative payment methods, gateways and PSPs.
  • Excellent Agile credentials, you love working in fast moving dynamic working environments.
  • You live and breath customer centricity, you enjoy dedicating yourself to genuine world-class customer outcomes.
  • You are strong minded and stick to your guns, and enjoy fighting for what you believe in
  • Creative, inventive and solution-oriented – you love the challenge of doing things differently and not just following the herd.
  • Fluent in English. Other language skills (including German) desirable.
