On behalf of our client in Oslo, we are looking for a Tax Accountant for a temporary position for 9 months, starting in October 2020. Our client is an international company and a market leader in its industry, You will contribute to develop and implement policies and processes which ensure effective tax planning and management for the organization, and advise local functions/management on tax aspects of business operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintains processes at local level to monitor and measure the effectiveness of the company's tax activities in PE's from execution
Identifying and implementing improvements on process, system and organization supporting the company's tax activities at local level
Responsible for executing tax compliance and filing for company's PE's. Including establishing and closing registrations
Responsible for timely and accurate preparation, payment and submission of tax returns for PE's
Local tax planning for PE's to maximize use of tax credits and to avoid double taxation
Calculation and posting of corporate tax for HQ
Supporting local business projects and operations (tax and customs aspects)
Supporting tax audits and tax inspections with local authorities
Supports the company's local business functions in reaching and maintaining compliance with Tax requirements
Supports in monitoring changes in local tax policies and procedures affecting corporate tax position
Responsible for reconciliations of tax balances relating to international tax and VAT
Responsible for CBCR
Back-up for certain accounting procedures in the monthly closings

Your qualifications:

Audit or Tax background, bachelor
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Relevant international experience
Exellent language skills. Be able to communicate well both in Norwegian and English
Knowledge of SAP ERP and tools used in finance is an advantage

Personal characteristics

Structured and organized
Ability to manage several topics simultaneously and deliver on time
Good communication skills
