Senior Telecom Engineer PRE

Job Description:

• Technical responsible (PRE) for Telecom packages in the project
• Review of supplier documents
• Supplier follow-up
• Supplier site visits
• Follow up vendors and vendor technical documentation and participate in test activities/FAT.
• Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project
• Interface to other disciplines, suppliers, and client
• Perform and complete supplier engineering documents and data registers
• Technical Bid evaluations
• Establish technical requisitions, specifications, and supplier document requirements
• LCI coordination and follow up

Qualifications:
Required Education:

• Education Master or Bachelor degree or Technical College combined with minimum 10 years’ relevant Norwegian Continental Shelf experience

Required Work Experience:

• Minimum 6-8 years’ experience from greenfield offshore oil&gas or wind projects
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience from engineering phase with electro, instrument, automation, or telecom system as PRE (Package Responsible Engineer)
• Experience and knowledge of telecom design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC
