Newly established role as Head of Investor Relations (IR)

The Head of Investor Relations (IR) is a newly established role following the recent listing of Aker BioMarine (AKBM) and the planned transfer to the main list on the Oslo Stock Exchange end 2020/early 2021. The IR position will through strong business and financial understanding be responsible for developing the company’s IR strategy, including preparing and developing all investor communication, in addition to being the main point of contact towards the Oslo Stock Exchange, investors and the analyst community.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Develop the overall IR strategy for the company together with the CEO/CFO
• Main point of contact handling the communication and dialogue with investors, the Oslo Stock Exchange and the analyst community
• Ensure that the company operates within the boundaries of The Securities Trading Act (Verdipapirhandelloven) and the company’s Inside policy in close cooperation with Head of Legal
• Responsible for preparing and publishing stock exchange announcements, including everything related to quarterly, half-year and full year reporting as well as inside information
• Responsible for preparing quarterly/half-year and annual reports and presentations in close cooperation with the accounting and communication departments
• Responsible for preparing and participating in investor presentations and roadshows
• Responsible for keeping up to date with the business and operational development, including detailed understanding of the financial figures and underlying drivers
• Responsible for the sustainability reporting in close cooperation with the sustainability team
• Support the management team on strategic communication, storytelling and positioning towards the investors and analyst community as well as bringing feedback and input from the investor marked back to the company

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience from finance; preferably analysts from any of the larger Corporate houses or similar IR positions in other companies
• Master’s degree in economics, finance or similar
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Solid understanding of underlying business drivers and how they affect key accounting and financial figures
• Commercially oriented with good business acumen
• Ability to cooperate and communicate across different departments
• Self-driven and proactive with high capacity and a curious mindset
• Ability to be detailed-driven, but also aggregate information to high level view
• Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills
• Fluent in English; both oral and written

The Head of Investor Relations will be based in Fornebu, Norway. International travel will be required to some extent.
