About Storebrand Digital & innovation (D&I)

Digital & Innovation, D&I, is a cross-functional corporate division organized in agile, autonomous, and interconnected teams, typically consisting of business developers, interaction designers, product owners, testers, and developers. All our teams operate, iterate, innovate, prototype, build and run their digital products and services. We measure success by the business outcomes we create. We are now seeking to strengthen our unit with a Web Analyst.

As a Web Analyst, your key purpose is to convert web data into useful insights for optimizing customer journeys and digital sales on storebrand.no. Your main responsibility will be to monitor metrics and spot changes in the marketplace and customer behavior, to find opportunities for growth. You will share this insight with relevant stakeholders. You will lead the building of dashboards and reports using tools like Google Analytics and Data Studio; tools you use proficiently. You will facilitate the strengthening of web analytics competency across Storebrand.

You will:

  • Drive Conversion Rate Optimization initiatives on storebrand.no together with the Storebrand Growth Team
  • Analyze experiments and find new opportunities to test, and iterate on findings
  • Analyze visitor behavior and present trends and recommendations based on this behavior
  • Continuously evaluate traffic performance to initiate actions to improve site quality, user reach, and conversion rates
  • Drive activities and programs to strengthen web analytics competence across the organization, including how to read web data and reports, build own reports, and in general increase level of web analytics self-sufficiency among colleagues
  • Support ad-hoc digital analytics needs
  • Develop web performance dashboards and reports
  • Develop recommendations for changes to improve customer journeys
  • Establish and develop arenas and formats for communicating key web insight to relevant stakeholders across Storebrand

You are:

  • Data-driven and analytical
  • Experienced in working with strategic web analytics using Google Analytics in combination with other data sources
  • Experienced in analyzing A/B tests and other digital experiments
  • Proficient in using tools like Data Studio, Excel, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Proactive in tackling new areas for web analysis
  • Experienced in communicating and convincing peers of the importance of being data-driven and experiment oriented
  • A diplomatic people person
  • An excellent communicator with strong pedagogic skills
  • Comfortable with English as a working language
  • Able to read and write in Norwegian

You hold:

  • 4-6 years of active Web Analytics experience including methods and tools associated with the discipline
  • Bachelor or Masters' Degree in relevant fields preferable. Relevant work experience can offset the lack of formal education
