URGENT NEED FOR SENIOR STRUCTURAL DESIGNER - STAVANGER

Our customer, an international maritime company, are seeking SENIOR STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER, WITH LONG DESIGN EXPERIENCE IN STAVANGER

Deadline: shortly - within July 24th 2020

Qualifications:

• Experienced and independent person with strong structural design experience - fixed installations.
• Very good experience with 3D design by use of PDMS/E3D
• Experience with Equinor installations
• Preferable experience with drilling units
• Experience with offshore construction/installation work
• Experience with writing installation work packages
• Experience with 2D design by use of Autodesk AutoCAD
• Good theoretical understanding concerning statics and steel structures, petroleum industry standards, rules and regulations such as Norsok, DNV and Eurocode

Job Description

• Study and project execution within drilling facilities both on fixed and floating installations
• Offshore surveys
• Steel structural calculation and construction
• Work shop following up
• Engineering Work Packages
• Input to tender
• Supplier follow up
• Installation and commissioning support
• As Built

Formal qualifications:

• Technical, Bachelor or Master degree within engineering with minimum 10 year’ experience

Competence requirements:

• PDMS/E3D, Autodesk Vault, Autodesk AutoCAD, Staad, Genie, MS Office, general good IT experience
• Valid offshore certificate for NCS

Language: 

• English, and Norwegian is an advantage

Duration:

• Start date: 01.08.2020
• End date:  31.12.2020 with possibilities for extension
