We are looking for a Security Architect to take the lead on security architecture in the Wilhelmsen group and be responsible for internal security architecture policies, standards and controls built on best practice. This position will work closely with both business and technical teams to ensure that applications, systems, and platforms are made secure by design and that effective security controls are implemented.

The Security Architect will report to the Director of Security & GRC. 

Your future duties and responsibilities: 

• Architecture planning with focus on secure design  
• Provide clear, continuous, and consistent security solution architecture leadership within projects and agile teams  
• Ensure close co-operation and alignment on security architecture with business units, other architecture disciplines, and technical teams, including involvement in relevant projects and forums  
• Maintain and continuously improve internal application security baseline, security architecture best practices and principles as basis for new solutions  
• Monitoring of trends, threat landscape and emerging technologies  
• Initiate and manage security and penetration tests, maintain overview of findings and coordinate mitigating activities  
• Implement and maintain security tools to assist in security testing and secure development  
• Take part in security audits and other relevant tasks as part of the Wilhelmsen global cyber security team  

Qualifications you have for this role: 

• University degree, minimum bachelor’s degree, in IT/cyber security, programming or similar fields. Relevant experience can compensate for a lack of formal education 
• Relevant security certifications (e.g. CCSP, CCSK, CISSP, GWAPT or similar) 
• Experience and/or a keen interest in at least one of the following areas: 
• Security architecture 
• Application security 
• Development 
• Vulnerability management 
• Security and penetration testing 
• Cloud security 
• Network security 
• OT security 
• IoT security 
• Good knowledge of concepts like Secure by Design, OWASP Top 10 and SSDLC 
• Experience with guiding projects and developers on security best practice 
• Experience or knowledge of both commercial and open source tools for security testing 
• A strong believer in the "Zero Trust" approach to cyber security and architecture, and keen on joining a global organisation well on its way to the cloud 
• Ability to interpret technical information and communicate findings in an easy, understandable, and interesting way 
• Self-going and self-managed, able to take own initiatives to meet agreed goals and milestones 
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with strong proficiency in written and spoken English
