Orkla IT is looking for a resource that can be main responsible for the Maintenance and operations of the SAP Manufacturing technical and functional solution, and ensure it is developed and maitained according to the business requirements.

As a SAP Application Manager you will be a part of the Manufacturing team in Orkla IT, but also work closely with the business, other teams (processes) within Orkla IT, and vendors who delivers projects or maintenance.

In this job you will be working with varius tasks such as:

Advise and support business

Advice business and process owners in specification of changes
Qualify business needs, translate these to change specifications or IT projects and ensure technical and functional QA in the execution phase
Support the business in training activities
Cooperate closely with the super users and process owners to understand requirements and priorities

Maintain solutions

Manage and follow up the resources within the functional area, and give input on resource requirements
Daily follow up and control on tickets and activities within the functional areas, including finding the right resources to be able to complete the ticket
Support Application Management team with expert knowledge, or coordinate with solution architects
Participate and contribute in transition from projects to maintenance
Work closely with Service Providers/3rd parties in case of issues, specification of changes, or follow up
Follow ITIL processes, and give input on possible improvement
Coordinate or be a part of Root Cause Analysis for problem solving, and follow up actions
Follow defined Test processes for Changes to be implemented
Work processes using Solman

We are looking for candidates fulfilling the following criterias:

You will be the right person for Orkla IT if you have an University level degree (or similar), minimum 3 years but preferable 5 years
Necessary SAP training within area of responsibility and 3-5 years experience as SAP consultant within area of responsibility
Good business knowledge
3+ years of documented experience building and operating SAP ERP
Good experience of architecture and integrations
Experience in working as part of an Agile team responsible for iteratively delivering business outcome
Language skills: Norwegian, Swedish or Danish natively. English fluently.

The Manufacturing team is a part of Digital Supply Chain Unit, and we are responsible for supporting the business within Manufacturing processes and operational IT. We have the end-to-end responsibility, and this means we are focusing on advisory, projects and on our current operations of application. This includes SAP Plan Maintenance, Production Planning, and Quality Management. Orkla is in an existing process where the ERP environments are migrated into one common SAP S4 Hana template. The right candidate have skills within SAP Manufacturing processes, preferably S4 Hana, leader skills, good cooperation skills, and is used to work in distributed and agile teams. We are looking for a candidate with minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
