With base, preferably at our plant in Lillestrøm, Norway or our sales office in Krems, Austria, we seek an:
Application Equipment Engineer
Wood Adhesives
with focus on implementation and innovation of our adhesive application solutions and services at our existing and potential customers.
We are looking for a candidate with the following profile:
. Educated in mechatronic, industry mechanic or technical engineer.
. Preferably 3 years relevant experience
. Basic skills in SPS programming (e.g. Step7, TIA Portal, Mitsubishi) and/or PC based systems (e.g. SQL)
. Comfortable with practical work
. Communication skills: English and German (minimum B2 level, spoken and written)
. Customer relation skills gained from experience in sales or technical service
. Planning and organizing ability
. Self-starter
. Willingness to travel (Europe, around 100 days per year)
Main activities for the Application Equipment Engineer are:
. Installing and servicing of adhesive application equipment at customers
. Commissioning of equipment and software
. Integration of software and programming of PLC's
. Expert consultation to customers
. Development of adhesive application equipment in cooperation with customers and suppliers
The Application Equipment Engineer is part of our Engineered Wood team and will play a central role in our efforts to develop our business and product portfolio.
We offer an interesting and challenging position in an international environment. The Application Equipment Engineer will, after a training period, work independently or in smaller teams, to achieve the agreed business objectives and reports to the General Manager Sales, Engineered Wood.
