The DJI Mavic Air 2 drone has a masterful design and takes the power and portability of its predecessor to new heights, allowing you to capture impressive aerial images. The drone has an ultra-portable design, can reach speeds of up to 68 km/h and features advanced camera modes such as 8K Hyperlapse and ActiveTrack 3.0.
Design
The Mavic Air has a 3D foldable design, making it the ultimate companion for adventures. The magnesium propeller arms can be folded into the slim chassis, while the control sticks can be removed and stored in the remote controller for an even more compact size.
Camera
The drone is equipped with an improved 3-axis mechanical gimbal with shock absorbers that ensure stability and precise control for clear footage even in windy conditions. The 1/2" CMOS sensor has 48 MP resolution and works well even at lower ISO values. With smart features such as SmartPhoto and HyperLight, you can always get optimal results. Furthermore, the camera drone can recognize five different types of environments (sunset, clouds, grass, snow and trees) and adjust the camera settings accordingly.
4K video recording
Make quality recordings in 4K resolution and up to 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 fps. The drone records at 100 MB/s, which provides incredibly detailed UHD videos. For stylish slow-motion videos, you can record at 120 fps in Full HD 1080p resolution so that you can capture all the details that may be difficult to detect with the naked eye.
HDR video
The Mavic Air 2 has a Quad Bayer image sensor that allows the drone to record in beautiful HDR quality. The recordings get good light exposure and precisely capture details, which gives the videos a vivid and balanced expression.
OcuSync 2.0
With Mavic Air 2, you get almost endless possibilities. The drone has OcuSync 2.0 technology for video transmission from distances of up to 10 kilometers. You can also watch live-streamed footage directly from the drone's camera.
Avoid obstacles
The Mavic Air can do more than fly - it also has the ability to learn. The drone has so-called Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS) 3.0 and can therefore perform evasive maneuvers and avoid obstacles, even in complex and difficult situations.
Recording and still photo modes
- ActiveTrack 3.0 is able to record up to 16 subjects at once and follow them even when they jump or are in motion
- QuickShots lets you choose from six different modes such as Boomerang, Rocket and Circle with many more for unique shareable content.
- Spotlight 2.0 locks the camera focus on your subject, so you can focus on the flight path while taking photos.
- 8K Hyperlapse expands the recording options and allows you to make automatic time-lapse videos while flying. Choose from modes such as Free, Circle, Course Lock and Waypoint.
Remote control
The Mavic Air 2 comes with a newly designed remote controller with a 240-minute battery life and a comfortable grip for comfortable control. It also comes with a clip that allows you to quickly and easily attach your smartphone to the remote controller.
DJI Fly app
Using this free downloadable app compatible with iOS and Android devices, you can create and edit videos easier than ever. The built-in editing tool has a variety of manual settings, functions and templates so you can edit your videos the way you want.
Advanced battery
Thanks to the drone's advanced battery system, you are informed about the battery status. A fully charged battery provides up to 34 minutes of flight and recording time.
