BACH POKAL " V I V A T " fra Bach museum i Eisenach.
Her kan du kjøpe både en stor, vakker håndslepet krystall pokal i barokkstil og en historisk objekt fylt av gåter.
Pokal er en fullstendig kopi av et glass som ble funnet i Bach`s leilighet i Leipzig under rehabilitering. Det vist seg at det var en spesiell laget gave til Johann Sebastian fra en tysk greve.
Dekorert med inskripsjon av kryptert melodi sammen med tale, samt Bach`s våpenskjold.

"The most mysterious object on display in this room is the Bach Goblet, one of very few undoubtedly authentic household item left from Bach's possessions. It is a Bohemian-Saxon work from around 1735. In the front, there is a VIVAT with a double (mirrored) monogram of the letters JSB underneath. The ends of the letters terminate in points. In total, there are 14 of these points – the Bach number, since B+A+C+H = 2+1+3+8 = 14 according to baroque numerology. In the back, there is a dedication poem that includes the name of Bach both in letters and in (German) musical notation: b–a–c–h theurer Bach (b♭–a–c–b beloved Bach) / g–gis–f–fis ruffet, ach! (g–g♯–f–f♯ call out, alack!) / e–dis–d–cis hofft auf Leben, (e–d♯–d–c♯ hope for life,) / So du ihnen nur kannst geben. (which only you can give.) / Drum erhör ihr sehnlich ach! (Thus grant our wish, alack!) / Theurer b–a–c–h Bach. (beloved b♭–a–c–b Bach). It is still an unsolved riddle who may have been the donor of the goblet, and on what occasion Bach received it:"
"In music, the BACH motif is the motif, a succession of notes important or characteristic to a piece, B flat, A, C, B natural. In German musical nomenclature, in which the note B natural is named H and the B flat named B, it forms Johann Sebastian Bach's family name. One of the most frequently occurring examples of a musical cryptogram, the motif has been used by countless composers, especially after the Bach Revival in the first half of the 19th century."
Glasset er helt ubrukt, og ligger i en nydelig eske med beskrivelse av glasset.
