ABB Marine is expanding the team with an Operations Developement Manager

We are looking for an experienced professional to, toghether with global Product Group management teams, define and implement product related processes, tools and practise in Local Product Group teams across the globe. In addition you will be responsible for product related competence management globally.

Responsibilities;

• Ensure that roles and responsibilities between global Product Groups (PG) and local PGs are communicated, and daily operations are based on it
• Together with Global Product Management develop and implement practices related to product documentation and guidelines
• Decide engineering tools and methodology for global solutions and support implementation in executing units
• Define and coordinate the necessary process reviews
• Coordinate best practices in supply and procurement
• Together with Global Product Management, plan needed product trainings for different roles and drive and follow up that competencies are developed according to organizational needs
• Lead competence mapping and development plans related to products and solutions
• Define and coordinate sales training related to products and solutions
• Lead competence certification related to products and solutions

Requirements;

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in electrical and/or control engineering or similar.
• Ability to analyze current situation and propose solutions related to operational excellence
• Business and customer orientation
• Excellent English skills
• Willingness to travel.
• Ideally, you have prior knowledge of electrical- and automation systems
• Experience working in an international environment
• 5+ years of experience from role in operations, product management or similar is an advantage
