Work you’ll do

We are looking for the right person for our team that will be responsible for Management testing of internal controls over financial reporting specific to entities to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The role is a key role within the team in charge of the test work performed, including direct interaction with key contact to assure compliance with the requirements for US GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal controls over financial reporting at the highest professional standard. We are looking for candidates with an extensive knowledge from test of internal controls as well as an interest in and experience with IFRS and US GAAP. As part of this role, you will also be working closely with the IFRS-reporting team.

We are looking for a candidate with strong communication skills and that enjoys being part of a highly skilled team working at a high pace. You should be proactive, enjoy working with different levels within the organization and working with complex financial issues in an international environment.

Main responsibilities:

Leading the testing of ICFR in the Financial statement close area
Assist in planning the testing
Prepare and review work papers
Assist in improving and developing internal processes and controls
Direct client contact and participation in reporting

To succeed in the role you’ll
We picture that you have following qualifications:

Master’s degree in accounting & audit
2-4 years’ work experience
Strong IFRS technical accounting skills
Preferably International experience
Excellent English language and communication skills
Organized and proactive

Knowledge areas:

Understanding the process of quarterly and annual reporting
Experience in preparation / review of financial statements and quarter / annual reports
Experience with internal processes and controls
Understanding of new accounting IFRS standards and understanding of US GAAP implications
