Role Summary:

The Human Resource Partner (HRP) will be the first point of contact for assigned local Baker Hughes managers and employees to provide advice, coaching and support on HR fundamentals and employee related questions. This role will be critical in creating an employee experience, which attracts and retains top talent, executing our location / region specific initiatives, providing available and responsive internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The role report to the Nordic HR Leader and work in partnership with three other HRMs. In addition, the HRP will partner with relevant global HR Business Managers in various product lines.


Essential Responsibilities:

Deliver Value through ensuring the right HR Service Delivery Model and HR operational excellence

Support, coach and guide managers and employees on HR fundamentals including: Employee advocacy / engagement, HR policy / procedure training, employee relations management, performance management, recruitment, compensation, and workplace investigations

Partner with back office functions as appropriate to address manager and employee inquiries

Analyze, interpret and utilize data as required in order to support HR strategy in core functional areas (retention, recruitment, compliance, diversity, etc.)

Ensure that routine and complex employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved

Lead key HR activities including compensation planning and compliance initiatives

Conduct HR training and support for functional processes.

Conduct investigations including gathering, preserving, documenting and analyzing all available information and evidence, and in some circumstances, making recommendations to the business on disciplinary action

Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care

Lead other regional / country HR projects as necessary, working across multiple client groups

Some travel should be expected


Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, Master is desirable

Significant relevant experience required and can compensate for lack of education

Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.

Solid experience from HR, preferably in a global matrix organization
