Senior Freight Forwarder, Maritime & Defence, DSV Road AS

DSV Air & Sea Norway are growing and are in the process of establishing a new Maritime and Defence department. In this team we are seeking a colleague who will be responsible for the road transports. You will be part of the key account team, but employed by and reporting to DSV Road AS.

The position is placed at the head office of DSV Air & Sea in Lillestrøm, Norway. The office is located relatively close to the Airport and 25 km from Oslo city centre. The office building is newly renovated and offers a great working environment in nice facilities.

The new department will handle a major account in the Maritime and Defence industry and act as Global Control Tower. We expect the team to consist of approx. four highly experienced freight forwarders, including one manager.

• Good and precise communication skills – fluent in English and one Scandinavian language

Operational responsibility:

• Daily operation, including planning, coordinating and executing the customers international shipments, in alignment with our work processes
• Contribute to a strong team spirit through motivation and a result-oriented perspective
• Continuous customer contact by phone and physical visits
• Continuous contact with agents, subcontractors and our DSV entities abroad in order to ensure competitive conditions
• Continuous focus on cost efficiency in your own work
• Keep calm under pressure and be able to take important decisions
