We are looking for a senior electro/Instrument engineer for 1-year assignment

For a client in the oil & gas industry we are now looking for a senior electro/instrument engineer, preferrably with EEHA certifications. This is a 1 year assignment with possible extension.Location Fornebu.

The main purpose in this role is to perform E&I design and engineering  to establish the most efficient solutions for development, design and manufacture, through installation and operation. 

Your formal competence is similar to this:

• Bachelor degree (as a minimum) in a relevant engineering discipline such as: Electronics, Electrical, Control Systems, Telecom, Automation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably from oilfield services or similar industry
• Knowledge of installations in Hazardous Areas, IECEx, ATEX
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and design codes like; API, ISO, IEC, ATEX, NORSOK, EEHA etc.
• Knowledge in design of electrical small power distribution, lighting, heat tracing,
• Knowledge in design of field instrumentation, F&G, Telecom
• Field experience is an advantage.
• Fluent in English language, both written and spoken.

Some of your tasks will be  to Interact with client through project-approved channels clarifying technical issues and writing technical queries if necessary. You will interface with other disciplines, vendors, and required parties with E & I engineering input in support of activities in design of equipment, component and process systems. Secondly you are expected to assist and support in commissioning activities.
