We are looking for you who have a Bachelor degree in Technology or IT, experience from IT operations and/or IT infrastructure and preferably minimum three years work experience.

The Cloud Specialist partners with technical teams and senior architects to analyze technical and non-technical requirements to eventually build cloud-based solutions. The Cloud Specialist will assess the trade-offs between different solutions as it relates to the integration between external and internal systems by guiding of impact analysis. The Cloud Specialist is also proficient in developing systems using different technologies and can communicate the results back to the technical teams and senior architects. Cloud Specialist will also work with end-users to optimize integration and user-experience.

The Cloud Specialist together with Infrastructure Specialists, is also responsible for Configure, monitor, optimize and maintain the cloud platform including ongoing support, investigation and troubleshoot of cloud related issues.

Activities

Contributor in Cloud projects, initiatives

Supporting one or more cloud infrastructure migration projects

Support system specialist in moving solutions into cloud, and in evaluating and designing new solutions for deployment on cloud platform

Identify gaps between the current system landscape, desired end-states, and guide DevOps team in their delivery of cloud-based solutions

Recommend alternate choices, trade-offs, and give guides for impact analysis

Work with technical teams and senior architects to final specifications related to integration between numerous systems

Knowledge sharing of cloud experiences, best practice and opportunities

Stay up to date on cloud technology. Subject Matter Expert

Assist in Datacenter strategy and “Cloud First”

Contribute actively in developing of Cloud Centre of Excellent (CCOE) align with corporate policy

Collaborate with enterprise architects and information architects to ensure cloud services align to roadmaps and understand the effect on the organization’s information architecture

Liaise with external providers to resolve any issues in the functionality and interoperability of new cloud applications, cloud-based infrastructure, and other cloud services with existing IT systems

Contribute to developing and executing on cloud strategy in close collaboration with COE, developers, operations and other IT stakeholders

Evaluation of security, cost, and operate according to Santander Cloud policy

Support developers in their compliance with security by design, making sure controls needed to protect information is been implement

Develop best practice guidance for cost governance and follow up on how development and operation comply

Ensure that cloud systems are “right-sized” in relation to the business-defined performance, availability and cost requirements

Governance

Provide a balanced approach to cloud management through a governance optimizing a secure and efficient DevOps ability

Develop and maintain documented procedures regarding governance structure, and performance management

What you'll need to be successful:

Azure Cloud technologies and platform, 1+ years working with Azure is beneficial

Solution architecture, design and development

Good understanding of server and network Infrastructure

Window and Linux OS

Kubernetes and Docker

Certification on relevant technologies

Excellent communication skills, written and oral in English
