Sourcing Manager IT

As a Sourcing Manager you will work cross functionally with the Category Managers and internal / external stakeholders in the domain of IT & PS (professional services) Procurement with a spend of over Approx. 500m USD per year. 

We are looking for ambitious and curious individuals that wish to be part of a diverse workforce and support transforming Yara into a Procurement leader in our industry and beyond. The role is located in Oslo or Brussels.
 

• Be an active contributor to the Procurement Excellence program
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to structure and lead a selection of value creation initiatives to deliver business benefits
• Support the Global Category Managers by determining opportunities for the development and execution of the IT category strategies
• Make use of best in class sourcing strategies to deliver on Yara’s needs by leveraging data market insights, data analytics and internal knowledge
• Participate in monthly category management reviews, providing updates on key initiatives and defining mitigating actions in case of deviations from plan /  KPI targets
• Faciliate supplier risk assessments (Security, Data Privacy, Financial Stability, Integrity Due Diligence) 
• Conduct contract negotiations, tenders (RFP/RFI’s) and manage the contract review / approval proceses
• Lead cross-functional efforts to develop and implement supply base optimization and rationalization
• Manage, maintain and develop relations with main suppliers. Continuously look to improve supplier performance whilst also optimising the supplier cost base, 
• Create an environment that fosters team work, collaboration, openness, respect and drive to challenging the status quo
   

• Master degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology or other relevant disciplines
• Minimum 7-10 years of Procurement and IT technical knowledge in areas of hardware, software, AMS, infrastructure, security, or sourcing services e.g. implementation of applications, SaaS, IaaS & PaaS 
• Has implemented / has an understanding of agile sourcing processes
• Thorough understanding of the vendor landscape in the IT global market place
• Bridge-builder with a ‘yes, we can’-attitude, ability to drive change and maintain a high level of trust
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders and conflicts
• Experience in working across cultural and geographical boundaries 
• Commercial mindset with influencing, negotiating and contracting skills
• Familiarity with TCO (= Total Cost of Ownership) and LCC (= Life Cycle Cost) implementation with understanding of cost drivers
• Analytical thinking, strategic problem solving capabilities and result oriented mindset
