About the Unit

Yara’s Procurement is on a transformational journey towards world class performance across all Regions and areas of spend. The Indirect Procurement Unit - responsible for the sourcing of  Professional, Technical and IT Services, Maintenance services, MRO, Equipment and Packaging - is an essential part of this transformation.   


Through deep understanding of Yara’s business needs and by building strong partnerships with stakeholders and suppliers, Indirect Procurement ensures that Yara is able to achieve great results, by bringing assurance of supply, quality, service and innovation, while significantly contributing to the Company’s  bottomline as part of the Yara Improvement Program. 


We are looking for ambitious and curious individuals that wish to be part of a diverse workforce and support transforming Yara into a Procurement leader in our industry and beyond. As member of Indirect Procurement organization you’ll be - amongst others - part of improvement initiatives coming out of the Procurement Excellence program and supporting its successful implementation. You’ll be delivering cost savings and added value by working collaboratively in cross functional teams with internal and external stakeholders.  

Here is how you can help us achieve success: 

Our expert Procurement team in the IT & Professional Services (PS) Domain supports Yara globally by sourcing IT software & application services, IT infrastructure & security services, HR, Financial, Legal and Travel Services, capturing tangible value while being accountable for approximately 500m USD spend per annum. 

To continue delivering on our ambitions, we are looking for two Sourcing Analysts to be part of the team, either located in Oslo or Brussels, and reporting to the Domain Director.
 

Responsibilities 
  • Drive market and spend analytics for the departments
  • Support key initiatives and negotiations with fact based and data rich analysis
  • Support Category Managers and Buyers in business case formation and TCO analysis  
  • Support the development, tracking and reporting of saving benefits 
  • Liaise with local procurement departments to improve spent data quality and process Monitor and report on Key procurement performance indicators across the globe
  • Support the Domain Director with general and governance related tasks
  • Ignite the team to work in new, more effective ways, in collaboration with the procurement governance team to develop best practices
  • Be an expert and leverage analytical tools
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders in order to support and influence key decisions 
  • Be an active contributor to the Procurement Excellence program
     
Profile 
  • Master’s degree in business administration, supply chain/procurement, finance or similar
  • Highly analytical mindset, a proven track record of financial/ data analyses and a passion for numbers/ dats sets, combined with the ability to pursue and tell a compelling story
  • Avanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Power BI and MS Power Apps (a plus)
  • Good business understanding, and you possess creative problem solving skills
  • Team player mentality with the ability to work independently
  • Experience in working across cultural and geographical boundaries
  • Ability to drive change and to maintain a high level of trust
  • Pro-active attitude and a healthy level of ambition
