Digital Solutions is a separate business area in DNV GL and was formed in 2018. Digital Solutions is made up of approximately 1000 digital experts and forms a powerful unit within DNV GL. Digital Solutions gives DNV GL the digital power required to focus on digitalization technologies and build skills like IoT, big data analytics, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, blockchains and cyber security.

Given the purpose and dedication of DNV GL, cyber security is identified as an important focus area for the company. Our expert teams are well-established and have been powerful players in controversial and high-attention cases since the infancy of cyber security. Always discretely retained and low profile.

Our particular team of consultants in “Cyber Security services” cover the topics of security architecture, risk management, quality assurance, incident handling and recovery, but also high-level security governance and general security strategies.

DNV GL currently experience increased demand in the cyber security advisory market, with increased focus on consequences from cyber-related incidents in health care. DNV GL is a trusted source of competence to assist in making data sharing possible despite a challenging and fragmented technological landscape in health care. Our new collegaues will increase our capacity and competence in this demanding market.

As a Cyber Security Consultant - Health Care you will participate in DNV GL’s advisory projects within cyber security, and work alongside some of the most experienced specialists in the field. This will give you a highly interesting and steep learning curve, and you will build an attractive formal experience.

The positions are prioritized to work with health care related projects, but may also participate in projects in other industries from time to time. Many of these projects are done from DNV GL’s premises at the seaside in Høvik, Bærum, and with convenient access with our private shuttle buses from Skøyen or Sandvika or easy available parking.

Some projects are done at customer premises and will involve a moderate amount of travelling.

Position Qualifications

Our Cyber Security Services unit  is growing and we are looking for people with different levels of experience.

• Master's degree or Bachelor with significant relevant experience
• Experience from security issues in Health Care
• Education and/or experience within one or more of the following:
  
  • Security architecture design and review
  • General IT security
  • GDPR and other privacy standards
  • PKI and secure identification
  • Network security architecture
  • Firewalls and other security components
  • OT security
  • Cryptography
  • Ethical hacking
  • Experience with ISMS/ISO 2700x standards
  • Risk analysis and management
  • Experience with the IEC62443 standard for security in control and automation systems
• Cyber security certifications like CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CEH or CCSK are desirable
• Other certifications, such as SANS GPEN or similar, OSCP, and CREST will also be valued and recognized
• Language skills: Fluent Norwegian/Scandinavian and English
• Good written and spoken communication skills; precise, efficient, structured and clear
• A customer-oriented mindset
• The possibility for a higher security clearance is preferrable
• A positive, constructive and solution-oriented “can-do” attitude
• The personal integrity to work with a trust-based brand like DNV GL
