Main tasks will be:
* General piping engineering for offshore projects
* Establish piping design briefs and design reports
* Design and design verification of piping systems according to piping standards and 3rd party classification society
* Perform stress calculations for piping systems, piping components and other process equipment
* Communication with 3rd party classification society and responsible to achieve 3rd party design approval of the actual piping systems.
* Establish pipe stress isometric drawings
Qualifications and personal skills:
* General knowledge and interest in piping engineering
* Bachelor or master degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant engineering discipline
* Experience from piping design for offshore or marine industry
* Proficient user of software for pipe stress calculations (Caesar II)
* Good knowledge related to international codes and standards for piping engineering
* 5 to 10 years work experience from piping design for offshore or marine industry
* Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and verbal
* Positive, good spirit and good skills to work individually and in project team
* Structured, quality-conscious and motivated to work in a hectic environment
Contract duration: 6 months with options for renewals
