Linux Operation Expert - Financial Crime Prevention

Payment fraud levels are increasing at record rates while fraudsters continue to use more complex methods. The fight against financial crime requires continuous innovation. TietoEVRY is a market leader within card fraud prevention in Northern Europe. 

The payment services, attack approaches, required response time, legislation and technology are all evolving fast. We are moving into increasingly sophisticated monitoring of payments to stay ahead of the market.

Your job is to keep the fraud systems running, capacity planning, and working with the other teams. This involves a set of Linux servers, databases, platform for machine learning, MQ and more.

Preferred work location is Mo i Rana, but Trondheim can be an alternative.

Skills and Qualifications  
Minimum qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• In-depth knowledge about Linux operation (preferably at Enterprise level)
• Experience with operation of database systems (MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle or others)
• English proficiency 
   

Additional qualifications:

• Message based communication system (WebsphereMQ, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)
• Saltstack, Puppet, Chef or similar deployments technologies
• Operation of Java based systems
• Legal framework such as PCI-DSS, PCI-CP og GDPR

The ideal candidate has at least three years' experience, but new graduates will be considered.
