You will be head of the Engineering Department.

The team is responsible for design, sustaining, planning and execution of deliverables of all products.

As head of the Engineering department you will be responsible for successful delivery of the full product portfolio of subsea system projects. Your responsibilities include all technical aspects within the projects, and you will make sure our customer commitments are delivered on time and with excellent HSE and quality performance. It is your task to make sure our projects are accurately defined technically, to allocate technical resources, and to handle risks and opportunities within the project portfolio. You will also be responsible for maturing our engineering processes.

Your team consists of an engineering department. Your primary task will be to coach, lead and develop this team. You will also be contributing on the engineering side, leading technical project reviews, resolve escalated issues, and consistently apply best practice management. It will be important that you build and maintain relationships with key external and internal stakeholders. On a regular basis you will also participate in negotiations with customers, suppliers and subcontractors as the technical responsible.

In this position you report directly to the CEO, and you will be part of the management team.

This is a management position, hence we prefer that you have some leadership experience. Experience from the subsea industry, preferably within project based engineering, working with customers and suppliers .

You hold a technical university degree, or equivalent.

You enjoy leading, motivating and developing people, and are used to building strong relationships with suppliers and customers. You are highly self-motivated team player with a result-oriented mindset and likes the challenge to make your team deliver excellent results.

Finally, you need to be fluent in English, a working knowledge of Norwegian is also helpful.
