Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordination and execution of geophysical work in exploration licenses, production assets and new ventures
- Planning and execution of geophysical data acquisition and processing including 4D
- Follow up re-processing projects with external parties
- Prospect identification and evaluation, volume and risk assessment
- Seismic interpretation and depth conversion
- Conditioning of pre-stack data for AVO
- AVO and qualitative seismic reservoir characterisation
- Provide and maintain inputs to asset reservoir models
- Ensure that all work, tasks and projects with his/her area of responsibility is carried out to achieve the overall objectives for HSE, technical integrity, compliance and cost
- Coaching and mentoring of junior staff
- Minimum MSc and geophysical experience within oil and gas exploration or production (minimum 5-10 years)
- Good communication skills to external parties and upper management
- Ability to effectively work and integrate across the subsurface disciplines
- Continuously build on our corporate knowledge base for new innovative prospect generation
- Strong background in seismic processing including 4D
- Proven E&P track record or significant contributions
