We are looking for a proactive and experienced leader for a newly established unit

To strengthen our position as a leading renewable energy company, Statkrafts growth ambition is to develop 6000 MW onshore wind and 2000 MW solar by 2025.

The business area European Wind and Solar (E) is responsible for development and ownership of wind and solar assets in Europe. In addition, E is responsible for the project execution of large projects to all business areas, the group procurement function and new business development.

The finance function in the business area is responsible for financial reporting, risk and performance management, compliance, being the finance business partners to E management and supporting large scale projects

The finance business partner function is proactively supporting the organization in delivering on our growth ambition. Growth will be both through M&A activity and organic growth initiatives. It is an important role in execution our strategy and driving strategic initiatives in collaboration with our management teams. The function is responsible for both the long term and day-to-day overall support to the relevant business units in relation to financial measures, performance and navigate into the complexity in the organisation.
The head of finance business partner function will be responsible for managing a team of 4 - 6 people, and coordinating the support to the units.
This is a new role and important tasks will be to streamline the support to the different units, driving the improvement agenda and initiate value add initiatives for the business units
The role reports to SVP Finance in E.

Your Role

• Managing the finance business partner function in European Wind and Solar and being a member of the finance leadership team in E
• Actively contribute to the implementation of Es strategy across the organization
• Provide management support to the executive management team in E
• Ensure a holistic view of performance within the business area and for the different units in collaboration with the finance business partner team
• Drive the development of the business partner role in collaboration with key stakeholders in E units and the E finance team
• Advise in identifying improvement potential in the organization
• Actively support in the development of E finance

Your profile

• Higher education in finance
• 10 + years of professional experience
• Leadership skills and experience
• Excellent communications skills
• Proactive with a commercial mindset and ability to motivate and drive change
• Build strong relationships across the organization
• Knowledgeable about finance technologies and portfolio management
• Ability to develop and implemented finance, performance management and risk concepts
• A team player with a problem-solving mindset
• Fluent in English
• Experience from the energy sector is an advantage
• Experience from M&A and financial due diligence is an advantage
