As Sekal AS continues to gain more business in Norway and internationally, we are expanding the organization and looking to hire a Bid Manager to strengthen our Sales team in Sandnes, Norway.
Main Goal:
The main goals for the Bid Manager is to be responisble for the end-to-end bid processes in the Company. The Bid Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with customer requirements, as well as ensuring quality, and that bids are submitted in a professional and timely matter.
Responsibility:
The Bid manager is responsible to structure all sales correspondence between Company and customer. All work shall be in compliance with Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethical guidelines.
Work Tasks:
- Prepare, coordinate and review all aspects of the bids and tenders processes in the Company.
- Coordinate inputs from a variety of stakeholders and contributors, as Sales dept, Finance dept, Product dept, and Operations.
- Customer service and follow up on proposals towards customers, ensuring all services are included, and comply with the customer request.
- Establish and maintain the Company’s Customer Relationship Management System
- Establish templates for more efficient sales processes
- Establish a library of technical and legal documentation for sales
- Establish a check list for verifying Customer Agreements
- Establish tools for standardizing pricing
- Align sales and marketing procedures with the company’s Quality Management Systems
- Define sales process with handover to operations and input to development
- Coordinate and design customer presentation material
- Editor of Web pages and profiling in social media
- Develop marketing material
- Market research
- Prepare and attend exhibitions
- other sales-and customer related task may occur
Qualifications:
Formal qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Sales and Marketing, or Business & Administration, or Industrial Finance
- Experience from the Oil &Gas industry, or from Software industry.
- Experience with preparing & coordinating end-to-end process of bids and proposals
- Solid understanding and implementation of internal governance procedures
- Language, fluent, both Norwegian and English - written and oral.

- Have exellent communication skills
The position will report to Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
