PRA Group is seeking a strong candidate to optimize the application portfolio in Europe
The person will be part of the central European team and report to the CIO Europe. You will be responsible for managing the software applications and subscriptions within the business, including procurement. The position will be based in PRA Group’s European head office in Oslo

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Maintain a complete picture of PRA Group Europe’s application portfolio
Identifying problems in the applications portfolio and assessing potential solutions
Optimize applications and cloud services on a continuous basis
Participate in impact analysis on additions and changes to the portfolio, including in-house developments

Professional Experience/Qualifications

Work experience:

Experience from acquisition, deployment and management of third-party applications and services
Experience with procuring and managing hosted applications, including SaaS and PaaS
Software life-cycle experience, including managing migrations, upgrades and decommissioning
5 years+ experience, from the financial industry would be desirable
Some experience with contracting and follow-up is desirable

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology

Language:

Fluent in English both written and orally

Your skills:

Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices
Familiarity with project management principles
Demonstrated skill in deploying automated business systems
Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
Knowledge of advanced systems analysis methods, practices, and principles
Knowledge of cost-modelling principles
Experience in preparing workflow analyses
