Do you want to work in a fast pace project environment performing inspections of downhole tools and NDT inspections of various equipment? We are experiencing an increased workload and are now looking for a new Inspector to join our Inspection team within Archer Engineering.

Key responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspection of client equipment in accordance with our procedures and external procedures as requested by client.
Inspection of downhole tools in accordance with relevant standards.
NDT inspection
Carry out inspection of parts/components within area of responsibility and in accordance with approved data (manuals, procedures and customer requirements. The work shall be documented.
Decide, in accordance with acceptance criteria, whether parts are serviceable or not, and specify necessary repair work.
Perform minor repair work.
Internal and external reporting in accordance with requirements.
Customer follow-up as the project requires.
High focus on QHSE.

Preferred background and qualifications

Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
Experience in downhole tools and thread inspection.
Experience in lifting gear inspection a plus.
NDT level 2 MT/PT & UT required.
Certified NS2 inspector plus thorough knowledge of ISO 10423, DS-1 and API RP7G.
Experience in Hardness Testing.
Certified G10/G11K a plus but not a requirement.
Good data/computing skills.
Driving license required.
Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
