Orkla IT is now seeking a Compliance Manager – Privacy and Security
The Compliance Manager – Privacy and Security reports to CISO, and is responsible for developing, implementing and improve Orkla IT’s legal framework to handle privacy and security within IT in Orkla.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in evaluating, promoting and managing privacy and security in agreements and IT solutions; that has passion for the privacy legislation as much as for technology and possibly information security.
Key responsibility :
Compliance and Audit:
- Assurance activities (Internal and External)
- Legal requirements mapping
- Owner of relevant Security Policies
- Data Management requirements
Legal - Third party risk:
- Legal framework for Privacy
- Legal framework for Security
- E-discovery planning and maintenance
- Legal enforcement of security requirements
????Day to day responsibility includes in addition:
- Strategy development
- Project Management for smaller projects
- Status Reporting
- Resource Management
- Vendor Management
Qualifications:
- University level degree (or similar) minimum 3 years, preferably 5 years.

The ideal candidate has the following experience / skills
- 5+ years of experience
- Can easily explain and help applying the principles of Privacy and Security by design
- Experience in evaluating privacy in agreements and IT solutions according to national and international regulations.
- Experience in evaluating information security agreements as a mean to support appropriate privacy
- Experience with cloud technologies i.e SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, analytics and more is a plus
- Has a positive attitude, inclined to find solutions to often complex challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and one Scandinavian language.
Orkla IT can offer you an exciting workplace, with many high skilled colleagues, on central locations in Oslo (near Skøyen station), but the role also requires some travel.
