As Executive Assistant to our CEO and top management team, you will have a key role in organizing and administering their activities. You will contribute to efficient and well-organized work processes, enabling our top management team to spend their time on value creating activities. With your language skills in Chinese and English, you will have the opportunity to interact with Elkem colleagues across the world and in all parts of the organization. By working closely with our CEO and top management team, you will get unique insight into Elkem and the way we operate.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Prepare and coordinate board and management meetings, including documentation
  • Create professional reports and presentations on behalf of CEO and the management team
  • Provide administrative support to our CEO and top management team, such as travel expenses, invoices, and document handling
  • Manage calendar and coordinate travel activities for CEO
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with colleagues and external parties to maintain information flow and scheduling process
  • Provide general administrative support for various management and board needs
  • EHS responsibility for our head office in Oslo
  • Responsibility for certain Elkem facilities for conferences and representation

Qualifications required for the position:

  • Preferably experience from similar position
  • Experience from international business and cross-cultural environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Business or similar. Relevant experience may compensate for this requirement
  • Proficient and updated on administrative systems and MS Office applications such as SharePoint and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral skills in English and Chinese, preferably also Norwegian

We are looking for a structured and well-organized person who thrives in a hectic environment and is still meticulous to details and accuracy. You are able to multitask and manage priorities, and flexible and adaptable to changes while adhering to deadlines. It is important that you have a strong service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills. You are experienced in handling confidential and sensitive information and maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.

The position reports to CEO and the primary work location is Elkem's head office in Oslo. We conduct background checks of candidates in our recruitment process.
