Engineering Leader Connectivity position with GE Vingmed Ultrasound AS

Role / Purpose:

• Provide engineering leadership to a set of teams (Connectivity, V&V, and Development Infrastructure) to develop and deliver solutions that meets customer and business requirements for product quality, performance, cost, schedule and budget.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Functional and people leadership of the Connectivity, V&V, and the Development Infrastructure teams, including recruitment, team/talent development, coaching and mentoring.
• Responsible for product development program deliverables (scope, quality, cost) in areas of responsibilities.
• Develop technology strategy in Connectivity area, including Patient Data Management, DICOM connectivity, installers and device OS configuration; stay current with market trends and needs.
• Evolve the V&V processes and tooling to ensure continuous improvement in alignment with QMS and business needs.
• In cooperation with the other CVUS development teams, set strategy and roadmap for the development processes and supporting infrastructure.
• Help drive product quality through continues improvements in areas of responsibility.
• Support installed base / existing products within the areas of responsibility
• Cross-functional cooperation within GEHC in a cross-cultural environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent knowledge or experience.
• Significant work and industrial experience.
• Strong experience in project management or direct or indirect people leadership experience
