Archer Engineering is experiencing a growth in our workload and need to strengthen our team with a new Senior Project Manager. Some of the key responsibilities of the Project Managers in Archer Engineering are:
- Overall responsibility for Planning, Cost and Risk Management for the whole project execution.
- Manage day to day operational aspects of the project including scope of Work and client interaction.
- Responsible for QHSE-deliverables in the project.
- Organize and manage project team in accordance with project deliverables.
- Responsible for estimating the project and delivering on budget.
- Establish and maintain client relations.
- Engage in Archer Engineering’s budget process
- Provide relevant input to strategy.
- Sales and tendering activities.
- Integration with other internal functions.
The Project Manager shall provide strong leadership and motivation to the project team, in order to accomplish the established project goals and objectives. The Project Manager shall also clearly define the roles, responsibilities and performance expectations for the project team members. The successful candidate shall be able to create a vision of what will constitute the successful accomplishment of the project goals and objectives.
Project Management is a core company activity, which includes the application of skills, knowledge, techniques, and tools throughout the project activities to achieve the pre-determined objectives of quality, scope, cost, and time, to the equal expectations of those involved.
Our new Project Manager has the following preferred background and qualifications:
- Relevant Master or Bachelor degree
- 10-15 year’s relevant experience as Project Manager
- Preferably experience with Project controls, Project management or Engineering management.
- Knowledge of the drilling process is considered an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Commercial awareness.
