Experis is looking for an experienced Data Engineer

Our Data Engineers are responsible for building code for extracting source data from source systems and integrating data into the Fusion Data Platform. This includes building and operating data ingestors, ingesting data into the Fusion platform, automating workflows through scripting in combination with using data processing and reporting tools.

Responsibilities will include documentation and hand-over to our IT Operations vendor.

Main tasks
• Build and manage integrations
• Data modeling and analysis
• Implement data extractors using the company's data connections
• Document and communicate status, issues, and risks in a timely manner to project team and senior management
• Analyze and document business process flows, identify project’s impact to those flows and make recommendations to enhance flows using process improvements
• Follow up IT vendors change requests and problems
• Collect and uncover user requirements

Qualification requirements
• Bachelor / University degree
• 5 year’s experience in development/integration
• Background in development and integration
• Extensive experience from oil/gas ICT portfolio and processes
• Knowledge of LEAN and agile way of work
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT procedures, patterns, and implementations
• Strong SQL expertise required. Python, Java, and REST API expertise strongly recommended.
