Full Stack Web Developer

Telenor Digital is creating the core identity platform for Telenor world-wide, and we are expanding our development team in Trondheim. We need a clever and enthusiastic developer  to help us continue delivering a world class product to our 170 million customers in Europe and Asia.

We will put emphasis on your experience, willingness, and ability to learn. You need to be familiar with some or all of the following technologies:

• Server-side Java
• API development (REST)
• Databases
• Web Development
• Amazon Cloud (AWS)

What we do
We put care into our product to make sure that our users from all over the world get a problem free login experience to over 80 Telenor services. With users all around the world we must ensure non-stop service and exceptionally good user experience covering long time smartphone owners, to users who don?t even know what a password is. As a telco we have some extra tricks up our sleeve to help us be better than our competitors, but at the same time we must make sure we are respectful of everyone's privacy.

Our culture
We take pride in our work and want to learn from our mistakes. We do post-mortems after failures, practise devops and work in cross functional teams. Our code should be readable instead of optimized into obscurity. Our kludges are few, but beautiful. The tools and hardware we work on can be freely chosen. Our managers believe that if we are allowed to own the problem, our skills will make sure the solution will be better and make the product even more awesome. The team voluntary participate in cageball, practise yoga and compete in casual gaming. Sometimes we also go out on the town for a beer to celebrate yet another monthly salary. There are also several gatherings every year to meet and collaborate with the rest of the Telenor organization.

Formal requirements
As we are expanding our existing team, we are looking for both junior and senior developers (5+ years of experience). Candidates should have a Master?s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. English is our working language.
